When people ask what I do, I'm never sure what to say.
I'm interested in change: how the ways we live change, and how people influence these changes. Politicians and religious leaders, activists and entrepreneurs. Everyone who shapes our sense of what is possible. I'm interested in what changes that sense of possibility and why. In what's hidden by the ways we usually talk about things, and how changing what we look for changes what we find.
But this is more than plain intellectual curiosity. Understanding change, reconfiguring our sense of what's possible - these are urgent tasks, when the future seems so alarming that many of us prefer not to think about it.
